Formation of the seas and oceans.

4500 milion years ago, the Earth was a ball clay. It hadn't oceans and no continents.
And what happened that it became the water planet?
Scientists believe that Earth was a horrible hot and violent place. Asteroids and comets fell in the Earth and bombarded our planet. Frequent volcanic eruptions may have covered much of the planet's surface in lava.

Years later, the asteroid rain decreased and Earth began a process of freezing fast and formed a solid mass. It formed the first crust his first mountain ranges and plains.Water and gas were but given the high temperatures that have occurred in the Earth there were part of magma.
They formed layers in which the heavier materials put to the core and the slight gravitational force. So, was formed the atmosphere.
The water just outside the atmosphere with large columns by vapor pressure, and created clouds. Until one day the temperatures dropped so much that it rained for centuries or millenniums.  Minerals and metals could create sand from the beach. Exactly, 4000 milion years ago that appeared the oceans.

This is the cicle of the water. First, it's go out of the sea, it form clouds and when it is freeze rain in a mountain the water fell down to a river and arrived to sea again.

In conclusion, I learn a lot of the formation of the seas and oceans, and I think that it is the main idea that the scientifics could be found. I think that the water was essential in our lives and we can't do anything without water.
